I replaced the batteries in the scale, but I still don't trust the results. No change for almost a week, then down over a pound. I just keep sticking to the plan, no matter what the scale says. I feel better. I feel more energetic, and my girlfriend says I look better. What I find most helpful is recording everything I eat. What I realized is that it is so easy to add hundreds of calories in carbs by drinking juice. I don't generally drink pop, but I love to have a few glasses of juice during the day, and that adds up to two or three hundred calories. A snack in the car on the way home could be another 500 calories of carbs. Just cutting these out has made a huge difference. I admit that I feel hungry more often and I have to ignore this feeling, but it's not really much worse than feeling fat a lot of the time and that feeling is replaced by feeling more healthy.
