Sandy701's Journal, 12 March 2012

Walked 3.2 miles (or so) this AM with the doggies. We had to make a slight detour off our route, so we may have gone a bit further than the 3.2.......close enough.

A major rain line is heading our way, so when we got back, I opted to do all our outdoor grilling then rather than waiting until dinnertime. Glad I did! About 1 hour later, the skies opened up, even though it's not raining right now....more rain still coming our way.

We've got some steaks, pork chops and chicken sausage links all grilled and ready for us for the week. The hard part is deciding what to eat next!

I would LOVE a sweet potato, but it's just not in the cards for me at this point....maybe in a few months??? Well, a gal can hope... Your stirfry sounds divine!!! It turns out the weather is fine right now for grilling....figures! Oh well, there's something satisfying about having it all done. Enjoy your evening.

Hey Sandy, we had a rainy, gloomy Monday too, but that will be the end of that for a while, glorious sunshine & terrible to have to work inside weather, I am having a major case of Spring Fever this week. I am drooling just thinking about all those lovely things sitting in the fridge, just waiting for my plate. Encore Presentations I think you call them, I just love that thought, anyway, at our house tonight is the Final Curtain Call for the roast beef, with carrots, onions, mushromms & roma tomatoes, & just a tad left of butternut squash plus a side salad. Gosh, do I love the food on this WOE. I used to be afraid of food because I had NO control over so many things. What a difference a year makes. Stay dry my dear & enjoy as best you can!!
