I have been working on getting more exercise lately, and that is going better. I have been running a few times. I got new Yoga videos yesterday and did the first one today. I went for a hike and I am hoping to hit the trail again tomorrow. Part of me keeps saying, this will all be easier once the kids get back to school, but it is not like they are the ones keeping me from exercising. That is the job of my laziness!

Yesterday and the day before were filled with extremely poor choices. Nothing I can do about that except for make today a better day. I logged my food for the first time in a while. I didn't really eat much today, but I'm okay with that. I tend to be a little overly enthusiastic at the beginning. I know I will find my balance soon.

Hi Izzypup, Great exercise! It is so easy not to do. I'm the queen of excuses the past year for not exercising, even though it makes me feel wonderful. You can do this, just don't believe your excuses. I'm also pushing myself to do that at the moment and get back into the exercise habit.

You might see if your library has any books or videos by Miranda Esmonde-White as well. Her stretching routines have been on PBS for many, many years and are considered excellent for fitness. Right now I'm going nuts because I'm mot allowed to do ANYTHING but sleep or read or watch TV (or b!tch 🤷🏻‍♀️on my phone) so I'm getting easily bored! 🙇🏻‍♀️

I love some of the videos on yourtube. My go to is Bodyfit by Amy. She has all kinds of workout videos. I have a suspension trainer (WOSS) so use her TRX workouts.
