Doing OK today... didn't have to take any meds at all, and while I'm not quite back to what passes for normal, I'm pretty close. I'm determined to stick very close to plan for the next 3 weeks so I can get back on the scale with some measure of confidence that a 7-day vacation did not completely throw me off. In three weeks, my family comes from France, and then my sister comes from DC a couple weeks later, so I know we will be carousing, and I have to be really firmly on the plan before all that house-guesting starts. I am trying to be more creative about veggies and fruit. I got so darned tired of green beans, so I'm still bound and determined to try small portions of broccoli and cauliflower to see if I can get away with it, just to stave off boredom. If there's anyone out there who is eating low FODMAP with veggie suggestions, please let me know what you're doing to not get bored and also to maintain proper nutrition.
