Step Seven
...Humbly ask Him to remove our shortcomings

I went to the meeting tonight where we covered step seven. The first thing was I was late, and when I sat down Val had to get up and move because I had body spray on and "this is a non fragrance meeting". Whoopsie - my bad! Sorry folks is what I opened with in my share.

I talked about how thankful I was for the meeting and that this step was relevant and meant alot to me since I spent the day on the internet at home reading trying to get a handle on my relationship issues and when I noticed something in Mimi Tanner's Calling men ebook...she mentioned having abandonment issues...so i googled it and found an amazing website which covers the topic of depression without medication.

So in there I read about fears and found what I've been thinking about for the past week....that my relationships with men are reminicent of my relationship with my dad...I have the same attraction...I'm attracted to men who are emotionally available, don't talk to me but when we do it's easy and fun and there's laughter...but they don't go out of their way for me and there's more...but I can't think of it all. I have to deal with Chelsea....sigh!
