It's a really big day to celebrate!
In the last few months my body has been fighting me every step of the way, but today before and after breakfast and yes without shoes on, I lost 5 percent of my body weight! I am truly truly happy. Because I fought so hard for it. The one change I will say that is significant for me, is switching to black tea in the morning from coffee.

New trainer, Jessie has different approach. Less weight more reps and perfect form coupled with stretching and I'm seeing results without being so exhausted as working out with Kristin left me.

Yesterday I went boogie boarding, my fave activity. I always feel amazing afterwards, but during is the best. I look forward to it, but yesterday I was still tired before I went. When I got in the water it was nice to have the water feeling so warm and that there was no rip tide current to fight. With the strong breeze present it was about enjoying what we call a morning of martini waves...long sweet rides onto the shoreline.
After our two hour session in Mother Ocean, it was about getting ready to hit the annual North Beach Festival. We hiked Russian and Telegraph Hills all the way to Grant Street and then back. Easily clicked a good 6 miles up and down hills yesterday around the area. A good workout that was made enjoyable with fun friends to pass the grueling steepness away! :)

50 minute workout with Kristin Wednesday : mostly arms, squats using a ball, crunches and sit ups focused on lower core:
Thursday: one hour walking dog. then 35 minutes on exercise. bike here at home.
Friday: another 50 minutes with Kristin this morning.
knee is feeling stronger.

been keeping my calories at 1600-1800 and working out with personal trainer. no real weight loss after three weeks but i am more tired and sore. the prize is I've been getting stronger.my knee is still shaky. getting my quads and hips stronger.
im glad i made the choice to buck up and get one. she's made such a difference in my Abilities in 3 short weeks. now i need to keep my cardio work up most days to break through this mucky plateau ive been living in and move towards whole fitness below 200#s..
