Of all the things I have tried, since starting my weight loss campaign, the only thing that has worked long term, has been calorie control. I have therefore decided to return to counting calories. I will try to keep the Carbs down and the Fat up, and I will do a bit of intermittent fasting, but fundamental to my regime will be counting the Carbs I take in. I am starting with a target of 1700 per day, and I will see how I get along with that. Wish me luck!

Good luck Jocko. That's what I've been doing as well, apart from the IF. Most of my carbs come from fruit and vegetables.

This is trial and error for all of us Jocko, learning along the way! Different things work for different people.. so go with what you know works for you . You've done it before and will do it again, especially with your big day to motivate you! GOOD LUCK!You can do it!😁

Jocko i agree with you. Calorie counting is the only thing that has worked for me. I am not going to change now and yes Heidi portion control is equally important

It's never let me down, JockoT, and I feel ultimately it's the most flexible - and of course, tweaking it to suit your needs means you can tailor it to your life, what keeps you feeling good (and full!). I wish you good luck with it, as always!
