I am proof that you can go on a workcation and still lose weight! I had gone up to 234.6 and today am back down to 233.8. So yeah! Hubby, pup and I traveled for my job, and we did not purchase items at fast food on the way up nor on the way back. When at my sister's house, we picked the healthiest Chinese food and didn't eat much rice, and made wise choices. We drank red wine. We ate protein with it. We made fruit salad with just fruit. We consciously bought healthy items to prepare with the family gathering. We brought leftover french bread, peanut butter, carrots, clementines, 2 apples, raw sunflower seeds and raw pumpkin seeds. We bought tomatoes, asparagus, 2 blackberry fry pies, hot pepper trail bologna, cubed cheese, and strawberries. We got some exercise in. We did not starve. Both hubby and I are down this morning after a 5 day workcation. This could be a record.

We tracked what we ate. We tracked what we drank. Some days we were over. Some days we didn't get in all our water. But everyday, we made wise decisions. Did I mention this was HUGE for us??? Well, let me say it again -- this is HUGE for us! AND WE LOST WEIGHT!!!!

Do not give up on yourself.
