Over the weekend, I was over on my carbs. Last week I was not what most would consider active. I sat alot and was just flat out lazy for the most part, and even didn't get in all my daily water. I had found a slump. It happens.
Yesterday, I made a decision to get out of the slump and went back on track with 21 day fix portions and drinking water, and getting in cardio exercise. I can definitely confess to sleeping hard last night!
Nearly had a relapse of "treating" myself to outside of my portion allotment...I wanted a cookie. I have cookies I made in the refrigerator, and I was going to get one. I was up until receiving a telephone call from a coworker, who inquired about what inspired me to take this journey, complimenting me on my meal planning decisions (have been posting on facebook), and also how I AM INSPIRING HER AND OTHERS to eat healthier! Wow.
What I thought I was doing to hold myself accountable, is actually INSPIRING and ENCOURAGING others. And just like that, the cookie temptation vanished. Thank you God for providing me an out when I was so greatly tempted.
Today I am having the cookie. I have PLANNED to have the cookie. And that has made all the difference. :)
