Slept in till 4:00 this morning. Almost didn't have time for my run this morning. Almost. Ran 3.3 miles with three 1/2 mile hills at 3%, and rest of the run at 1%. Not particularly challenging, but just felt loooong - probably because I was running behind, and was going to have to bust my butt to make it to work on time. Wifey made my lunch before bed last night, so that saved me some time. She told me she boiled up enough hard boiled eggs for snacks to get me through till Sunday. I think I'll keep her.

I don't know for sure how this is going to work out, but I'm running this Utah Delicate Arch Google Map program Thursday, that is up and down hills at a 15% incline for a mile and a half. I'll probably go pretty slow, but this built-in program looks like something that will really come in handy for training for this 15K in June. Looks pretty scenic.

In case you haven't figured it out, I am not actually running up the arch itself. :D I think there has only been one person actually climb the thing without ropes. The run is apparently in the vicinity of the arch. The elevation map for the run looks more like an EKG.

The weather has been a little cooler here - in the 30's on average, but still great for February. Won't be long before I'm out there on the blacktop. I'll still have to do the training programs on the treadmill though. Otherwise, I won't get the hill training.

Think about it: If marriage were outlawed, only outlaws would have in-laws.

Sounds like a really great treadmill. What's the make/model. I've been thinking of getting a treadmill. I like the idea of jumping on any time of the day or night.

Carlys Mom, it's an iFit Live compatible treadmill model NordicTrack Commercial 1750. If you go to the Moderation Motivation Group and find the topic iFit Live Compatible Treadmills, you will see a link to the 'Nordictrack Commercial 1750'. I just went there, and they have it on sale for $100 less than I bought it for, and it was on sale then.
