Hi Buddies, I'm still lurking. You aren't getting rid of me that easily!

I remain disappointed in my weight but I've been having NSV's galore over here that i wanted to share with you:

1. I'm keeping the streak alive! I mentioned I was heading up a walking challenge and since the start I've been averaging 12.5K steps or 5 miles per day! I'm currently in second place on my team. This has been quite a change from the evenings I spent as a couch potato.

2. I am becoming a runner! I was able to jog for 9 minutes straight and have been pushing through some discomfort. Surprisingly it's my legs holding me back, not my breathing anymore.

3. I ran on Easter. Previously I would've used the holiday as an excuse for laziness. Not this time!

4. My body is changing and my clothes are getting too big. I wore my favorite shirt from last summer for probably the last time because it looks like a dress. I was also able to buy a pair of size 18 stretchy jeans (usually a 20/22 depending on the brand).

5. Best of all, my grandma told me my butt is getting smaller. Talk about a compliment! 😂

Based on how my body responded to our Easter feast (dropped nearly 2 pounds) I suspect I've been under eating with my drastic increase in activity. So after this next round of celebrations I'm going to readjust yet again.
