Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 17 April 2017

Well... I did the yoga and I loved the yoga. The class was made up of all sorts of people. Every size, every age, and everyone was super nice. My view of the entry level class...

LOTS of breathing, putting your body in strange positions that make you realize you have muscles and can't move in ways you thought you could, silent counting.. that I kept losing track of, lots of giggling because no one could keep count or keep track of the order of the breathing/moving, and super doper relaxing. I had the worst day of work and was in a totally craptastic mood. The friend I was supposed to go with cancelled at the last minute because they SUCK. Despite all that. I LOVED it and signed up for a 6 week course. That's my report.

Also this weekend was Easter which I have renamed "Pantsless sugar high day that leaves adults drinking heavily and not having pants that fit the next day." Seriously.. 3 lbs??? I somehow gained 3 lbs. I ate and logged and came in around 2500 calories. I'm hoping by Wednesday the weight is back down. Because otherwise.. I'm officially giving up easter and hunting down that sugar addicted bunny.

I was beginning to think that the yoga had been the end of you for a while and you were still trying to walk home afterwards lol. Glad you enjoyed it. You know the next question Farting? Anybody? The weight should come off as fast as it went on.

Glad to hear the yoga went well. If you catch the Easter Bunny, give him a kick for me too. Hopefully the weight will be gone by mid week.

The only yoga toot I heard I think came from the girl in front of me... she was pivoting on her mat though so we will give her the benefit of the doubt. lol

In my family we didn't get Easter baskets of candy, but toys (as wee kids) or useful stuff like a travel-sized hairdryer (5th grade). My parents loathed our sugar highs and basically banned carby snacks from the kitchen pantry. I always thought of Easter as a kids' holiday; how do adults celebrate it (beyond going to church)?

YEA!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! Have fun! :-) I gained weight yesterday too but I got back on the horse as soon as I got home and took NO left overs home with me. :-)
