I'm not looking forward to weighing in tomorrow morning. We went to visit my family this weekend and totally lacked the willpower to stay on track when there was soooo much junk and other people eating it around me. I knew it was going to be hard, and will be hard, but I didn't expect to give up completely. I ate ice cream, cinnamon pita chips, key lime pie, pasta with cheese sauce, bread and butter pickles, and a sizeable roast beef po-boy with gravy over a two day period. None of those things would I have even considered purchasing or eating if I was at home. I "tried" to keep portion sizes under control, but found it easy to disregard that the 1/8th of a key lime pie is listed as a serving on the package was also listed as having 450 calories. It was tasty, but not THAT tasty.

I'm not going to let it get me down, but I know that I need to plan better and find a way to minimize the damage on family visits. I love my family and spending time with them. I usually try to visit every other weekend so I HAVE to find the strength.
