Day two of gym goal = success! I went to the gym last night and walked on the treadmill 20 minutes at 3.5 mph, then ran on the elliptical for another 20. Then I worked on the ab machines and did squats and planks. I was drenched in sweat down my neck and down my back by the end of my workout.

When I was in the gym I ran in to an old friend who hasnt seen me for a while. When he saw me his eyes about popped out of his head and he said "DAMN GIRL YOU DONE DROPPED SOME POUNDS!" I just smiled and said "yeah, just one hundred of them". He was completely amazed and started asking me for pointers. Moments like that make me feel so good about myself, and makes all the hard work I do really seem worthwhile. I don't see the weight off of me as much as others because I see myself everyday.

I've also come to realize that I sleep so much better after I work out. Such a deep sleep last night; usually i toss and turn a lot before passing out. Not last night--I was passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow. I'm so glad to have discovered that as it is another motivation to get my butt moving!

As far as the diet goes, I was SUCH a good girl yesterday. For breakfast I ate a lite n fit yogurt, lunch a small salad with 2 tablespoons of lite ranch dressing and turkey in it, and for dinner I cooked a taco pizza that was really healthy. It was on wheat crust, made with ground turkey and reduced fat cheese. I only ate one small slice of it. After my workout I was really wanting something sweet to eat (I have the biggest sweet tooth). I knew if i woulda dove into some brownies or ice cream it would have completely defeated my purpose of going to the gym--so I reached for an apple instead and it somewhat gave me some satisfaction. Also I only drank water yesterday, and LOTS of it. I don't do soft drinks anymore.

Hopefully the scale will start moving south, feels like I've been stuck at 232 forever!!

That is awesome!! What a perfect way to run into someone, AT THE GYM!!! It makes you literally walking proof of your hardwork!!! Congrats on Day 2 and your pizza sounds yum!!

Wow, congrats on losing 100 lbs. I'm sure it won't be long before the scale starts moving downwards. Just keep up the good work and it'll show on the scale in no time.

Hey I ready you had a big sweet tooth in your journal, well ME too!! I am a chocolate lover! Try Nutella it like 100 calories for 2 Tablespoons, I only eat Like a Teaspoon and it is very filling, i just put it on a peice of bread and it satisfys my sweet tooth! Just a thought!
