Day 15 of new lifestyle, and I was a bad girl last night! I ate well all day, and ended up going to the movies with my sister and hubby. I did pretty well, considering the damage I could've/wanted to do. I had 2 cups unbuttered popcorn, handfull of Twizzler bites, and handfull of Sour Punch Straws (my favorite, my weakness). All in all, I still ended up under calories, but the junk food made me feel bad. Oh well. I guess I'm entitled to one cheat day every so often.

Newsflash: McDonald's is giving away free small coffees all day, every day, until January 22nd. I'm drinking one (plain!) right now. Free is good, as long as you can stand being around McDonald's and not get any cravings. I suggest drive thru :)

Woke up early before work this morning and worked out. I got rid of doing the stationary bike. It's so BORING, and I just can't keep my concentration on it, and I feel like it doesn't work me like I would like it to. So, right now, I've been doing at least 30 minutes on the elliptical at around 110-120 strides per minute, and weight lifting machines. Hey, there, I want toned, beautiful arms, not saggy skin, and weights are key! I never see any girls on the weight machines, and I don't know if it's an intimidation thing or not, but I adore them. I am at 30 pounds on the regular arm lifts, 60 pounds on the arm push downs, and 110 pounds on the squats (torture, my upper legs feel like jelly!). I feel good about where I am now.

I look pictures of myself on Day 1 in just work out pants and sports bra. Ugh, so bad. I am taking pictures of myself in 2 week intervals, so this morning was picture day. Not a huge difference since I've only lost 6.5 pounds or so, but little by little, I see a small difference. Next week: re-measure my thighs/bust/waist/hips/calves/arms to see if any changes have occurred.
