I'm hoping that I've got my mojo back. I was ill in the night - as a type 2 diabetic I know that I'm carb intolerant. After my muesli bars yesterday I took 2 metformin, I woke in the night in a hypoglycaemic state so had 2 squares of 85% chocolate - this gave me reflux so I had to have a sugar-free Rennie.
I woke up this morning with an awful taste in my mouth.
I Will Win also has told me off and I've promised him that I'll be sensible. The thing is that carbs upset my blood sugar and increase the fatigue syndrome - which then puts me on a cycle of not having the brain power to think - or the energy to make proper food. I know that for my health I need to eat lots of fat, some protein and very little carbs. It's back to the eggs for me. Oh and have days of fasting - it's amazing how it gives me energy.
