Having trouble losing weight. Keeping to a 1100-1200 calorie diet and still no change. Working out at least 2-3 times a week. Not sure if the not losing weight has anything to do with me having stopped smoking, but this is frustrating. Need to find an over 50 diet or something that will help me lose weight.
135.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.2 lb a week

I can relate! I have been trying to do the same but find I need to start really measuring everything carefully and drink much more water than I do. Good luck!

Eat less as possible and try to work out at least 5 times a week if it's just walking a few miles and drink plenty of water.. I wish you the best

Try at least 45 minutes 5 days a week!

You might want to try low carb high fat and see if that works I'm way over 50 and its best for me if I stick with it. It's kinda like Atkins. It's hard to give up grains though. Just a thought.

I think you may be in a phase where you are exchanging fat for water and muscle. Stick with it! The weight will start to come down. I agree with the others, add a lunchtime walk on the days you can't work out. It will make a big difference.

Up cals for a day or two then go back should help.

I agree with Mistybenner. I am over 50 and when I seem to come to a stand still I up my calories for a day or two and then drop them back down.
