Oh man. The week has ended already. I haven't weighed in at all this week but I don't think it'll be good. I ate pretty well but the exercising was not so great. Found out on Tuesday that I could no longer go to Lifetime on the family membership. Planned to sign up on Wednesday or Friday but then got called into work both days. Being low on the money I couldn't resist and took both shifts.

Watched the P90X infomercial with my dad last night who said his best friend John has been doing it with his wife Julie for awhile now and both have seen great results. Still seems kinda scammy to me but if we actually know real people who do it instead of going to the gym then it's hopefully legit.

Now we all know how infomercials work. They convince you that you can look amazing like the people you see on TV. You order the system, use it once or twice, put it off a couple times, and then it just collects dust next to your TV. Well, I decided last night that instead of paying the $150.00 for the gym for the first month and $50 a month after that, I'm just going to stick to the P90X plan for 90 days and, depending on how motivated I am, do the INSANITY! program after that. I'm hoping I can stick to the plan. I've always been a HUGE fan of going to the gym so it'll be weird not doing so. I'm going to miss my leg machines!! We'll see how this whole thing goes. The huge plus is that I can do it at my house and not have to take the time to get to the gym which was the only reason I'd sometimes skip in the first place.

My only concern now is that P90X is supposed to kind of "bulk up" your body. I don't wanna be too muscular because that's just gross on girls. Also, I need to keep my weight down for the SLBL competition. Hopefully the round of INSANITY! afterwards will shed off any leftover fat and bring me down a bit!

My little sister Kelsey is going to try to do this with me so yay!! for extra motivation! She's a size three dancer and can totally kick my ass in this. I love competition so game on girlfriend!

Got my fingers crossed! Can't wait to start this new program!
