I've just had my first bulletproof coffee. My problem is that I don't like to see fat. I used a hand blender, but as I was drinking it it started separate out, of course. I've ordered a little milk frother to try and keep it mixed. I've been having double cream in my coffee for a few days now and only drinking coffee in a morning. In the afternoon I try for water or on very cold days hot water with lemon.

In other news - I've got a cold - this is what happens if you mix with people very infrequently and then go to a crowded Ikea on a Saturday.

I hear that! I used to get sick every time I went to town. I love BPC. I use a bullet blender with mine. Makes all the difference. That's a good time to mix in some water soluble fiber too. Helps thicken it up and provides your body with fiber. I like Inulin fiber, which is also a good prebiotic so it's good for your gut, and it's flavorless. But there are lots of choices for water soluble fiber.

Hey @Mini, I use one of those Cuisinart hand blenders and I blend it for at least 30 seconds in order to emulsify it completely. Mine don't separate even after a long time. All I use is Brain Octane, grass-fed butter and espresso. A good blender will make all the difference in the world.

Exactly what I was going to say - pick up a magic bullet or bullet blender - it helps a lot!

I use a small hand blender - cost like $30 - unsalted butter, coconut oil and coffee blend fine if you do it long enough - should be frothy like a latte

I love coffee, but somehow I don't think I would want to try bullet-proof yet. But coffee and cream with whipped cream, that's another story.

I'm not so sure how I feel about bullet proof either :/ I, too, am a fat skeptic. How was it? Do you like bulletproof?
