minitata's Journal, 23 January 2017

I went really, really tired and checked my blood sugar - 205/11.5 - I try to keep it under 100/5.5

The only thing I can take it back to is the sweet potatoes (which I thought, wrongly were low carb), passata and mozzarella cheese. Everything else was fresh. I've checked and for 100g between the 3 the net carbs are about 35g. Too high for me.

I'm reading a book called Salt, Sugar, Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us by
Michael Moss. Very annoying.

Diet Calendar Entry for 23 January 2017:

I just came across the "if it grows below ground it has too many carbs" rule. I wonder if there are any exceptions.

There's a documentary on Netflix called Hungry for Change. It's definitely worth checking out.
