It's possible for sure. I just dropped a significant amount of weight in 8 months. Just have to stay focused and consistent and it will happen. I just turned 50 this year and you are smart to get the excess weight off now. 50 + overweight=asking for medical problems or more medical problems.

You've got 34 weeks until your birthday. That comes to a pound and a half per week. That is so very possible!! Go for it and keep us posted.
