Doing well. OK anyway - I had a small piece of pizza yesterday evening, ate the bread. Then on a few other pieces I just ate the toppings, the food was at work. Otherwise I'm following things fairly strictly, tomorrow or Monday I'm going shopping and I definitely need to go. I'm aiming for April or May to be in the low 190s. I don't have far to get there at all...

No, cheatdays are NOT part of Atkins. When you cheat, you kick your body out of Ketosis for at LEAST 3 days. That means for every day you cheat, you loose 4 days minimum. Also, this can cause headaches and tiredness every time you do it since your body is switching back and forth from fuel sources. Glen is rather close to goal, and that can sometimes make a difference. Do NOT plan on cheat days as that is the perfect way to sabotage your weight loss.

Thanks Anita - It was so little it wasn't really a cheat day but it threw the scale off this morning for some reason. There still is the rest of the week. It is SO COLD that exercising outdoors is a no go plan. I'm fine otherwise. I'm joining groups at my library to meet new people in the upcoming month or two and I'm not that lonely as I do have the writing keeping me busy. I will get photos up of me soon once I get the transfer device jack for the cell phone to the computer - I have photos on my cell phone which came out well and I can post one on here and some in the gallery area soon. Denise - Thanks for the advice about cheating. Today I did feel lousy despite the very little amount of pizza I had. My niece cheats on Atkins but I won't anymore. I will not plan or do anymore cheat days. I have no planned parties to go to anytime soon. Superbowl Sunday may be a problem but I could eat chicken wings that day instead of pizza...

Glenn, I read about an addictive pizza crust made from cauliflower on the Atkins site. I'm betting that you could enjoy that on SB Sunday. I guess it also makes great breadsticks.

We all have those days when we slip up a little. Just put it behind you and move on. You know what you have to do. The goal you set is very doable!!
