Are you sure you're doing everything you're supposed to do? Are you drinking enough water? Are you staying within your RDI? If you know you're doing good, then it will budge. These times where nothing happens can be frustrating. Try shifting things around a little big. Eat less carbs - or more carbs. Surprise your body a little. :)

KingKeld is right - shift it around..... Also, you can't expect to loose weight every week. Lots of people find they stay static for a week or two, or even three while their body adjusts. The losses then kick in again. Don't worry too much about it - I do think this is the problem of weighing every day. Sometimes it makes you focus too much on the day to day changes, instead of looking at the "overall" losses.

I just had four full weeks of nothing in particular happening. It's REALLY bothersome, but eventually it budged and now I am going full blast again. So will you.

Thanks for all the advice - that's why I am here! Skinny: you're right - I have to look at the overal change. And King - I took your advice before about having eggs in the morning but I am definitely a creature of habit. I have an egg just about every morning and for lunch I either have a bagel or soup. I'll try changing. Also exercise is a problem for me because of ruptured disks in my lowerback and neck. I am limited to water therapy but there are days the pain is so bad I can't even do that. Thank you both again!!

I hope it helps. It's my experience that the major impact to lose weight is on the food, not the exercise. I lost most of mine without pretty much ANY exercise.

Unfortunately ... we don't necessarily "lose weight" every week ... well at least not that the scale reflects. Oh I just saw someone else already said that!! The counsel above is good ... mix it up a bit. Don't worry too much about exercise ... just vary your calories and what you are eating every day ... hang tough, patience ... I'm right there with you!!!

Im there with you! My scale has been cranky to me this last month! nothing moving - and my mobility has been limited due to pain and bronchitis. Im trying not to focus on it to much, ive been here before and it does get moving again eventually. K is right tho, change is good. I find staying around 100 carbs a day seems to help my progress although its not always something I acheive. I should get my focus on that. Keep it up you can do it- We are all on the same journey!

I agree with everyone.. you have to shake up things. Have yourself a merry Christmas and call it a Spike Day. I bet the scales go down right afterwards. Warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a very Happy New Year.
