Hi, my back is better. Not 100% not that it ever will be again. But sometimes pain meds are needed for one to function. Toto is getting groomed, she wasn't happy to see me leaving, she is OK being left here alone but she doesn't like the groomer's place. They bathe her and trim her up and she doesn't like it much but she needed it. I will get her done again in March or April depending how her fur is... I am so used to having her here all the time when I am home. She is happy here and I know she is quite attached to me as I am to her - I have had her nearly three years. Dogs are like small children, they look up to you, but kids grow up and out of the adoration phase when dogs don't - but Toto gives me a dirty look once in a while if she's mad at me. She's funny, sometimes she'll yank off her collar if she has to get on wet grass - she will go on it but when SHE wants... I think now I will always have a dog, my friend Debbie waited a year after hers passed on, but got another it is a happy little tiny red poodle. It does a little yelp for a treat... cats are great too, I grew up with them; they're easier to care for too, maybe in the future if I have a bigger place I'll have both. Toto likes cats as when she was a puppy she was raised with cats. Anyway, enough dog talk, I got a walk in and hope to get more walking in today and this evening. Hi to all my buddies I have been neglecting due to over a week of severe back pain! I will try to get on journals this weekend at the latest! Dieting going well...
