The day started off well enough. Had a decent breakfast. Then I get a call from the school nurse to pick up one of my kids who has flu like symptoms. Light lunch... Very light lunch. Pick up the other kid after school. And no dinner. Just didn't get around to it.
Then the debate came on. And the family requested popcorn. Old-fashion, popped on the stove popcorn. With a generous serving of melted butter. And, because I'm such a pushover when it comes to spoiling my hubby and kiddos -- I did just that.
And caved in to my carb cravings. And ate way too much buttered popcorn. While watching the big debate.
I'm so going to pay for this on the scale.
Can I blame political madness?

The smell of freshly popped popcorn is enough to make anyone cave! Add political debate to that, and it's a recipe for disaster. Get back on track, and don't look back.
