Yeah, about that five pound increase... I've really have no feasible excuses that will pass the muster. It all comes down to poor decisions.

Between fighting off allergies from our early spring to indulging in an over abundance of barbecue because it's the grilling/rodeo cook-off season... Throw in a weeklong family road trip through New Mexico and Arizona featuring such delights as green chiles and fry bread.... Let's just say it's been a recipe for diet disaster.

It's now time to get back on track.

It seems that I'm stuck in plateau limbo. The silver lining is that at least I haven't gained. I'll take the wins where I can.

It's been a busy week overall. I haven't hit my walking goals in the last two weeks, so hopefully I'll be able to get back on track this week. The good news is that I'm dropping the weight, albeit in small increments. Just waiting for that magical whoosh moment.
