I happened to spot this journal entry and simply had to comment.
I disagree. You haven't failed. The fact that you're still on here, still posting, still trying shows that you haven't failed. You only fail when you give up.
Looking at your weight chart, despite having good days and bad days your weight is still heading in the right direction. Plus look at how much you've actually lost already! Wow!
Of course, it's hard to keep this kind of thing up over a long period of time so don't beat yourself up if you have some bad days. It takes time and a whole lot of trial and error to discover the secret to what works for you. Focus on the bigger picture and what you've already achieved.
