Well, a happy Friday to our community! I am pretty tired from my workout yesterday. The 8 minute run at 5.0 speed on the treadmill seems to be my maximum. My heartbeat remains in the 155 BPM area, and I was a bit amazed the scale said I was 252 with shoes, keys, and clothes, after I finished. I give myself 5-7 pounds when recording weight on this site. Might just go to the Fair, which is close by, today.

Female bodies are amazing. There is a tale in my family of my Michigan farmer's wife grandmother lifting a tractor off my grandfather. He had been working on it, when the jack collapsed. When he was late for lunch, she went out to find him pinned, and without thinking, she reached under it, and tipped it off of him. Both were a little sore for the next few days, but both survived into their 90's.

Wow, that's a great story. You hear stories of adrenaline giving people super rushes of strength. I do believe women have thicker tendons than men. Naturally, some women stronger than others, but I remember a frail lady I met, that proved to me she could beat many men in arm wrestling, and when she put down a friend, I was SO shocked.

HCB, technically, no it isn't because she doesn't tuck the bar at her armpits. This, I would call a full press.

Clean and jerk, you put one foot forward, a lunge, when you press the bar overhead.

Ah - yes that is right - I have seen that. The way my gym is set-up, I use dumbbell moves - no barbells

Powerlifting gets you very storng. This girl has amazing leg strength, and arm strength, for that matter.
