Whoa! One cookie is one cookie, and your diet log says it's only 53 calories and 7 net carbs. This is not a tragedy. It sounds like you exercised self control and limited yourself to one cookie. That's good! It also looks like you're keeping your calories very low. If you keep them too low, that can have an effect on your metabolic rate, as well as setting you up for binge eating. Under those circumstances, just having one cookie seems reasonable and very self-controlled. Good job! Guilt and shame have no place here--they often tend to lead to serious overeating and more guilt and shame. Please don't go down that road, Pretty Mama!

I'm actually more annoyed at myself than anything else, although there are guilt and shame undertones. My little heathens have been teasing me with goldfish crackers, cookies and all sorts of carb snacks the past couple of days. Not in a mean way, mind you, just typical boyish silliness. I grounded them for life, but I don't think they took that threat to seriously! LOL Many thanks for the support. Tomorrow is another day! :)

@Dalebenge - good job on that move. Fats will definitely kill your hunger. I drink a mug of tea or coffee with 2 Tbs. of heavy cream. It can keep me going for hours until I'm ready for a meal. A handful of nuts, a block of cheese, a spoonful of nut butter on celery all do the same, but with more calories, and less fulness. Drink your water.
