Hello and Happy Sunday FS!

A beautiful lazy morning! So far just sipping my pot of java. Found a recipe for Biggest Loser's Pumped-Up Pumpkin Pie Bites that I may make. My family has requested Pumpkin Ooey Gooey Cake (let me just say cream cheese and butter!) in addition to Pumpkin Pie so I thought the bites would be good for me and anyone else that want to go a little lighter. I'm not real big on desserts ... Bread, potatoes, stuffing is my weak point!

Addressing my fear! My fear is if I indulge on Thanksgiving, it will that send me back to "I'll just have a little bit, it won't hurt." Then the little bits increase, I give myself permission and then the next thing I know I'm saying, just this one day and I'll be good tomorrow. Then tomorrow doesn't happen so then I'll start on Monday. That is how I got to be almost 200 with that type of attitude.

Standing my ground! I am going to make it through Thanksgiving with the best decisions I can make for the day. If I go over the edge, it will only be that day. Friday I will be back at it! I will exercise and plan my eating around the holiday meal to limit additional excess calories as I know the holiday meal will be more calorie laden.

I am Blessed to be with family (although not all) on Thanksgiving and I am Blessed to have supportive Buddies! Thank you! I appreciate you!

So on with today!! Get my butt in gear and move it!

Have a fabulous day FS! Let's be strong this week! We can and will do this!!

Great attitude. It is understandable to be nervous but don't feel bad, I think we all have those thoughts. The important thing is that we figure out the best way for is to keep it to 1 day. Then on Friday we are back on track with our diet and exercise plan. Good luck. We know you can do it.

I know those feelings so well. I had an evening off on Thursday but I had planned for it beforehand and saved up some calories. If you take your usual intake down for a couple of days you can indulge a little without setting yourself back. I realise that the southbeach diet is not all about calories (I don't know much else about it) but can you do something like that? That's how I plan to get through the holidays. XX Wishing you luck. Glad we don't have so many big days so close together in the UK XX

Thanks M and Di! I am going to plan accordingly because I know a liiltle devil will be sitting on my right shoulder telling me to GO FOR IT! And an Angel will be sitting on my left shoulder whispering angelic things like, you are starting to look good and fit into some of your smaller sizes so take it easy kiddo and don't listen to him. Best to you! I know we will get through this! Thanks for your support! I know Christmas Eve and Christmas will both be tough days ... Not to mention the office parties ... Geez!! Heading into A tough month! One day at a time! Again, thanks!!!

Your attitude is so great!! I know exactly what you mean about fear of the slippery slope. I have so many temptations coming up- parties- family food and travel....I worry about the balance of enjoying life and being with friends and family and giving up foods that are fattening. We should be able to do both!! I know you will do this. You have all the plans and the focus! What are you doing for exercise??
