r2linda's Journal, 12 November 2011

I feel great and hav not had a difficult time as of yet. I think I need to stay away from anything really really sweet though. The reason is because I had a crystal light (to me they are very sweet - even diluted) and was craving something the entire rest of the day. I managed to resist. I think that is my trigger. I do want to try a MIM. I don't have baking soda so I haven't tried yet.

Hi Linda, First I want to say Welcome to FatSecret & to the Atkins WOE, for me it has been a life changing experience, one I will never regret. I won't lie & say it has been easy, when I first started I really struggled. I did see your comment on my journal & wanted to say, thanks for stopping by it is very nice to meet you. I agree that you should stay away from anything really sweet, especially when you first start Atkins while your taste buds are adjusting! Some say to stay away from artificial sweetners too, but you do what you think is good for you. If crystal lite envokes cravings, consider it a good lesson learned, move on & stay away from the stuff for a while. The good news is, the longer you stay away from sugars & starch the better you will feel & the stronger you will become! Good luck on your journey, I wish you all the best. I am sending you a buddy request! Happy Monday!!
