Slept in this morning till 4:30. Ran for 30 minutes on the treadmill. Seemed like an awful long time. Going to have to put a TV in there or take it outside, so I can at least look at passing telephone poles or something. I'm expecting to see 215.0 lbs. by around Christmas time. Haven't seen that weight since Moby Dick was a minnow.

I am getting a little discouraged to see a lot of my friends on here getting frustrated over their plateaus or lack of progress. Keep moderation in mind. Don't starve yourselves; you'll get the opposite results of what you are hoping for. The human body is a marvelous thing that has a built-in regulator like a wood burning stove. You put less fuel in, and your metabolism turns down the "burn". You need to add fuel every now and then, and stoke it with oxygen through exercise to get it to turn up the burn, and then ease off on your intake and enjoy the ride. Then when your body gets wise to you and begins to go into hibernation, you need to repeat the cycle. Show it who is boss!

Why is there an expiration date on my sour cream container?

Sorry I haven't had time to visit you lately! I play music for my indoor workouts & that seems to help me stay motivated, otherwise I get bored! I am thinking I may need to do the same sort of thing while swimming, I think I am getting bored! Running, not a problem, so much to see!

You always make me laugh. I think you do it even when you aren't trying to. lol. I have a confession to make...I didn't work out this morning. I was so tired last night I felt that it wasn't going to happen :( I will do it tomorrow. I always workout before I weigh in. I think it is more a mental thing with me but will get it done tomorrow. I can see you getting to 215 in no time. You have been running your tail off. Keep it up.

M. Sometimes your body is smarter than you are. Sometimes you need a break. There's times I am so exhausted that I know I'm not going to make the workout the next morning, and then I act so surprised like "Wow, I didn't see that one coming." If I get it in, I get it in. I don't try to make up for it. It takes like three days before you start to lose any strength or stamina that you've been building up. You might not make progress the day you skipped, but the rest may be even more important. Have you noticed that sometimes you have more staying power when you do skip a day? The correct answer is "Yes". A day without sunshine is like, night.
