173.8 this morning - won't officially weigh in - I think I'll start doing it every other day.

Wanted to eat, eat, eat last night. Had my tea instead. Saturday night, I will have girls night - lots of wine and cheese, so I just keep thinking of that.

Today is my last day of maternity leave & I start back to work on Monday 8/1 :(

Yesterday's food:

bfast: protein smoothie

lunch: 1 cup broccoli slaw mix + 1/3C red bell pepper, 1T seasame seeds, 2 chicken nuggests cut up, 2T homemade carrot ginger dressing

snack: 1/2C greek yogurt, 1 superlarge handful of blueberries, .5oz almonds, 1T chia seeds, 1T honey

latte w. almond milk & 2% milk

dinner - 2.7 oz chicken with ~3/4C veggies sauteed in chipotle peppers (mushroom, onion, zucchini), 1/2C kidney beans

snack - leftovers from last night: ~1.5oz chicken, ~1/3C veggie mix

lactation tea.

~84oz water

you're doing great! how are you able to nurse on such a low cal diet? are you starving or did you just adapt?

@Tulip, I am currently pumping 20-24oz of breastmilk a day + breastfeeding 1-3 times. She is eating everything I pump. So I am unable to bank anything. I have maybe 120oz frozen, and I'm worried I'm going to have to start cutting into that soon. I'm sure my diet has some impact on my production levels. But I really didn't see a dip in my production until I stayed with my mom for a week. Our schedule got so messed up and a lot of days I only pumped twice. I was pumping 25-30oz prior. I'm drinking lactation tea and trying to eat lots of good fats.
