Maybe you're like me and you tend to go through food phases, and I have a new snack (new to me) that I'm really enjoying right now. I watch calories as my method of choice, and I have always been a night-time snacker. I have to have my night-time snack. I just do. If you're one of those I-never-eat-anything-after-6pm types...good for you. I just couldn't survive. So. I always save up enough calories to be sure that I can work in a night-time snack. I try and save up enough for 150-200 calories.

What's working for me lately is this:
Dannon has this light greek yogurt for 80 calories. It's thick, it's *substantial* and satisfying. My two faves right now are the Vanilla flavor, and then I mix about a tablespoon of PB2 (chocolate version) in with it. That's about 22-23 additional calories. Very satisfying snack for just over 100 calories.

My other favorite (slightly more calories) is to take the strawberry cheesecake version and crumble up one square of a graham cracker on top of it, and then chop/grate up a couple of frozen hershey dark chocolate kisses and sprinkle that on top, too. Mmmmmm. Very satisfying for about 176 calories.

I wish I liked yogurt, sounds good. I also count calories.

@beware5289--Believe me; I'm not a huge yogurt fan. It's certainly not the same stuff they used to make 30 years ago. You can buy a single-serving portion at the grocery store for about $1 just to try it. When you mix in stuff like graham cracker crumbs, Hershey kisses and/or peanut butter powder (chocolate version!)...you almost forget it's yogurt!

I've tried so many different kinds yuck lol. I do have both flavors of PB2 so maybe I'll try that. Thanks!

200 works for me too for a nice little "something" at the end of the day. Sounds great!

I've been eating a lot of yogurt. I get the unflavored Greek yogurt and add my own flavorings. I use different things like applesauce and cinnamon, chocolate protein powder and peanut butter powder, vanilla protein powder and bananas or various combinations of those. Throw in some rolled oats and it's very satisfying.

sound deelish! That is my go to brand....I enjoy the banana creme and the coconut. Have you ever mixed in some regular oatmeal and let it sit for 8 hours...it gives the yogurt a thick and delish consistency. some choco. shaving or berries mixed in would be delectable!

I haven't tried the oatmeal/yogurt combo, but it sounds like something I could try for breakfast. :)
