I have reassessed my goals and have taken the recommendation provided that to lose 1 pound per week,(my hope), my daily calorie allotment should be dropped to 1200. This reflects a sedentary lifestyle and obviously , if I am more active, my calorie allotment will increase accordingly. I could have stayed at 1300 and it would take a little longer but I am just under 6 pounds to go and it is generally a little harder to lose those last pounds so I've opted to reduce consumption. If I find that I'm too hungry, I won't jeopardize myself, I'll increase calories. We'll see how it goes. I wish my fitbit could sync my "steps" to record in Fat Secret exercise.
