Okay I officially think I am hitting peri-menopause! I looked here...

http://www.earlymenopause.com/symptoms.htm

and I have about 80% of those symptoms, and my sister started around age 40 so genetically it is possible.

This makes sense for a lot of my symptoms, as well as it being so freakin hard to lose weight. Add to that PCOS and diabetes and food intolerances - and I can see why I am fighting an uphill battle with my weight. In an odd way it is kind of soothing to grasp that it is not all my fault that I can't lose very fast. I guess I can blame emotional meltdowns on it too which should be handy LOL

Thank you all for your supportive and caring replies to my melt down two days ago. They really helped!

Also helped was going for a walk in our local gardens, and checking out the newly rebuilt container mall in our broken inner city. Getting sunshine helped too I think! And not being around stinkin party food!!! I had my normal suppressed hunger thankfully yesterday, so glad to be back to normal!

So thank you my friends - you helped me get through an emotional morning. Hugs and love to you all!!!!

YUP. That would explain a whole lot!!! I hear PCOS really messes with weight loss. Take good care of yourself!!

That does illustrate what you are up against. The more you know about it, and hopefully with the help of your doctors, will allow you to deal with the challenges you face in losing the weight. Keep educating yourself and do not give up, you will eventually hit upon the right combination for successful, permanent weight loss. DO NOT GIVE UP! Peace.

Sending you much love and support. I know it can be hard. Look at all that you have gone through and overcome this past year. But you are a survivor. You will conquer this just as you have conquered everything else you have been dealt with. But dont ever think for once that you are alone in this journey. We are here with you. Again, much love.
