Today is day 5 of my fat fast. Normally I weigh the same from day 4 to 5 so I usually do not do 5 day fat fast. But I started this fast with a water fast and switched it on day 2 to a fat fast as I wanted 4 days on the fat fast so today is day 5 of restricting.

I did not live up to the 80% fat I needed for yesterday because I decided to eat outside the diet with 1 piece of chicken. My fat for the day was only 70%, and the calories were up by 250 calories. My carbs for the day though were perfect at 9. But not hitting my macros there is NO surprise that I rang in day 5 half a pound up from yesterday. I am not deterred. I am pushing through this last day with the fat fast. I am hoping I will be what I weighed yesterday or lower tomorrow morning.

I am feeling great! Tomorrow will be a start of four days to maintain my weight. The diet will change from high fat to high carb, low fat. But Monday I switch back to high fat, low carb for 3 days. Then back to maintenance. The first part of my plan is working. I've lost 3.5 lbs so far as of yesterday. My goal is to lose, then maintain, then lose again. It is my hope that I can blend to opposite approaches to lose then maintain, then lose again.

Combining two different diets is a new approach for me, this is week 1 and the first 5 days of trying these. So far I'm excited. I am looking forward to feeling that satiation from a normal size serving meal.

There is a wedding in my future and i have 88 lbs to drop. I LONG to be out of 200's. I got so close last year to staying in Onederland. I got down to 196 lbs. But it was short lived. I'm ready to keep my big girl panties on and get my hinny back to Onederland.

If anything, I'm feeling super excited. This August will make 3 years of when Is started to lose weight. Sadly I quit trying a few months ago and regained. But that girl is gone. Make way for the resolve and determination!

We can do this!
