Time to get off of Atkins, posts for women only, so it is time to go to a more friendly section - my own diet! Even if it is OWL in Atkins...

Used to thing there should be a group just for OWL, but since it seems to be such a different experience for everybody, I guess it is good that there isn't one.

Half the people on here won't be on here in a year anyway... I know - everyone I was friends with even just two years ago is off completely except loosin' and sararay - and sara is on only rarely...

A good day, getting the last section of the western wrapped up - all the characters' fates. It has been a productive day so far... so it isn't likely long before this book is done in final draft and quick scans of the first three books are done. Weather cool and cloudy, we may have snow flurries in the next few days. I am doing well otherwise, the dieting is going well. I suppose I am doing Atkins OWL now. And so will do a weigh-in in the next few days. I did gain quite a bit when I had the two saline IVs each time in the past few weeks, but that weight gain is off now...

Glenn - Sorry about all the typos. When I get on FS at work I sometimes only have a few seconds to reply and get back to work. People come and people go - that has happened to me in the 8 months I've been on here. Nice that you have Loosin and Sararay as long time buddies.

Yes - Buffy - one guy was on Atkins about three years ago. He didn't post often or much, but had success. I was never his buddy but was aware of him, he was a young man and died in a car crash, his wife got on and announced it. Others should just sign off, I worry about buddies who are on here daily for years and then disappear. I suppose I will be on here for some time as the weight is a constant struggle with the psych meds I am on. Don't worry about typos Buffy I have made tons on here typing too fast! Have a great evening all...

Hi Bren - I understand. I have been busy too. Tomorrow I have to go get X rays, do more laundry and maybe shop a bit, Friday an appointment then work at night of course on the weekends. Have a great time. Next June my twin sister and I celebrate the big 50 - so we have to do something together - if it just is to go out for lunch or supper... I crave salty foods like Chex mix - and stopped the artificial sweeteners and I think I am still going through withdrawal, but I feel better...

It was a good day, I am alone in life but for a few Internet friends, but a little dog enjoys my company more than any person I know - nothing like a friendship with a little pet to brighten one's day. Today was a great day of writing for me - back on track. The ending of the western is going really well. I am so blessed to be doing what I want in life, God may keep us from material things - but do we really need them? I don't even drive. A bigger apartment is all I want. Happiness comes from within, no one can give it and no one can take it away unless you allow them to... as time passes I realize I am better off alone and don't need too many friends or even a girlfriend - and I don't have a girlfriend because I don't have money - and now I realize I need to focus my time on my writing. Anyway, living alone has its advantages... no junk food brought in - no cake, no ice cream, pie, pudding, pizza, chips and dip, french fries, etc. I am eating healthy and my main goal as the cold winter weather approaches is to get more exercise outdoors. We all have our own path to follow - the secret I think is to figure out what will make you happy, not what society says will...

For the first time since I had the dog she awakened me from what sounded like a nightmare. Oh, sure I've heard her whimper in her sleep before or I've seen her feet move in her sleep like she's running. Anyway, her previous owner passed on and she was there nearly three years ago. And so I awakened her and she is fine now, dogs can be like kids sometimes - she seems OK now...
