I ran my first half marathon in constant rain a couple of weeks ago. I am so happy it feels like an accomplishment. I have not hit a milestone in sooo long that it is just now that I realized a goal. I have been training for the event since feb. The first sunday after I went to my normal zumba class and I was sooo happy just to be doing zumba rather than running.

After the event I thought of all the ways I could of done better and one is the track speed work that are my arch enemy. I just can not figure out how to run around a track numerous times before I numb out and lose focus. I updated my calendar to try to become committed again to yoga. I have signed up for a ten miler which isn't until the fall. There is a neighborhood half I want to print the map and make it my training program this time. I have been doing one of those 90 days to a better you program at the gym. I feel crazy watching a dvd but some how at home I just can not workout like I do in the gym.
