I had my first Atkins Advantage Vanilla shake. It definitely takes the edge off my cravings. It says it only has 2 total carbs and 1 net carb.I hope Im not in for any unpleasant stalls or getting knocked out of ketosis.I'm pretty leery of processed shakes and bars. They're usually too good to be true.II hate to waste a whole day waiting to see how it affects me but it's the only way to know.I'd love to hear your experiences, opinions and thoughts on Atkins Advantage shakes.

Love the atkins vanilla. I stay away from the bars most of the time. Don't like processed foods. I have one every day as a snack after one serving of whole grain oats 100 cals, 15 net carbs. I add flaxseed and raw nuts. I am in phase 3. OWL. Keep up the good work.

I've not had any problems with the shakes....both total and net carbs seem reasonable and can be accommodated fairly well into a day's menus. It's the bars I need to watch. They have sugar alcohols which can affect SOME almost like sugar, itself. With the sugar alcohols, the total carbs are much higher, so can be a problem working them into the "numbers" if one is concerned about total carbs, as well as net. The bar that's my favorite isn't too bad with 12/4/2 (TC, sugar alcohols, NC), but the peanut butter cups run 18/11/2 and the brownie runs 18/10/2. That's over double the sugar alcohols in the PB cups and the brownie (compared to the peanut caramel cluster bar) which can also cause GI distress in some.
