Well.....aint life funny. Me and Angie getting healthier and life going pretty great and.....the transmission went out in the truck. Just paid it off 2 months ago. $2200 for the rebuild. Guess we all need some attention sometime. But she's been good. 5 years and just tires and a water pump. Best Chevy we ever had. '05 Avalanche

As they say, "Life's a b*tch and then you die". Hope nothing else goes wrong with it.

I hear ya. We paid off our van. I left work late at night and bumped in to a light with a cement bottom. Just a dent. But they said it was totaled. Would cost more to fix it than what it was worth. So now I have a new car which I love, but the payment, which I don't.

It always seems to happen when things get paid off, doesn't it? We now have an old Silverado truck which we bought used and it runs and runs. We had a Ford F-150 and that was in the shop every 3 months (400 bucks each time) AND had a truck payment too. Sold it!!! Seems like you and Angie and the truck are going through an overhaul. :o) Hugs!
