I so admire your ten-pound range for fluctuation. I think we have talked about this topic before. With my height of 5'1 plus inches - a ten-pound range feels like too much to go up and down. I guess I have a five pound range from 135 to 140. JUST LIKE YOU - I am working to SQUASH that range down to the range between 130 and 135. Let's SQUASH together! Okay? Okay!

What a great attitude to have. When you have a big gain you always get rid of it like the next day. Is that too much salt or something? I have often wondered that about myself. How an I be this weight one day and down to this the next. I will have to go look it up. Good luck this week, glad you had a wonderful thanksgiving.

Yogamama - I think a lot of my gains during vacation and holidays is sodium. I gain it FAST ... but usually I can drop a few lbs. relatively quickly as well!! Poet ... yes ... let's SQUASH together. I can understand why at your height a 10 pound range seems like too much. 5 lbs can put you in or out of a particular size can't it? At my height ... 5-10 lbs isn't all that noticeable. But then I weigh a heck of a lot more too!!! LOL!!!

I'm so with your #4. I LOVE the fact that I still have 2 days till I have to go back to work - to bad Evan can't say the same. Glad you had a great Turkey day - don't worry about the gain, you know you'll have it off in o time flat!!!!

Your perspective is always so refreshing. You are one of the ones who really made me see that we ALL have our ups and downs in this weight loss battle, and just because we have one or two bad days (or heck, even weeks!) of eating, all that matters in the long run is that we are still here and we keep trying. When we give up and just don't care anymore is the dangerous point.

What a wonderful attitude about your weight fluctuation. You are not stressed like you could have been. And you will be right back down again soon.

Nope no funk here... YAY! Lovely attitude today, foods and fam time so worth it. My cousin sent me a text -may you gain 5 lbs like I plan too, lol I think you will be happy w/ the lower range, it makes it easier to deal w/ a fluct up thats still under the blue line!! :D

Cynthia ... I think I'll be happy with the lower range too ... however it might take me a little time to arrive there!! I ended up eating leftovers last night, turkey, dressing, gravy, 2 rolls with butter of course, mashed potatoes (made with real butter of course!), and then finished it off with the apple cobbler I made. See why I don't cook!!! LOL!!! It's okay though ... I still am not feeling funky even though the scale was up again this morning. What can I expect??? The food was delicious ... it is just about gone. No sense in beating myself up ... I KNOW I'll bring it back under control ... like you have so often said!!!
