Wicked Step Monster's Journal, 10 October 2011

I am halfway to my 100 pound goal. It went a tiny bit slower then I had wished for, but, for the first time in my life I feel that I am eating the way my body was intended to eat.

I believe that the next 50 pounds will be just as easy. That is of course AFTER I finish sabotaging myself. When I hovered within ounces of my 50 pound goal, I went on a carb binge. (I laugh at calling it a binge, I may have eaten 120 grams in one day, two days in a row!)This made the scale go up a couple of pounds.I had to struggle to get them off during the week. I did this to myself 2 weekends in a row.

Anyway, once I am over my self sabotoge, I will continue to see this weight melt away. Slow and steady baby!

Congratulations on reaching you're halfway point!! I am sure the next 50 will be a breeze, because you have seen the results, you know what happens when you slack off, you know what to do about and you are facing it all with the right attitude. The fact that you are not giving up but facing the problem and getting back to it is a real plus!! We all slip up once in awhile, that's life!! Keep up the good work!!

Thank you for sharing your story...it is very important to me to know that there are actually people achieving their goals...it make me want to try harder and proud of how far I have come in battling my mind set to lose the weight... thank you and I wish you success in the next 50 pounds
