It's finally sunny again here in MD, which could be considered the East coast version of Washington state and the American equivalent to the United Kingdom as far as rain goes. Yay! I am definitely solar powered, during winter I have a harder time not being depressed because I start to feel dark and gloomy when the world outside looks that way already. However, along with the thought about the farmer's prayer (Dear G-d, please forsake the prayers of travelers. :P ) I had an encouraging thought about the abundant precipitation.

There's a verse in Isaiah that talks about rain. (Specifically it's written in Isaiah 55:10-11)

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. "

I know G-d is ever faithful and trustworthy, the rain now is just another reminder of that. However, I will definitely relish the next several days that are supposed to be sunny and not lose cheer when the rains return,
