Bird Fancier's Journal, 08 April 2016

According an article by Jillian Michaels, if you are post menopause and trying to lose visceral fat, your KCALS should be 1200. So, again I reset my RDI/KCALS. Of those 1200KCAL, I will still try to stay in the range of 80% fat, 15% protein, 5% carb!

I am 56. I released most of my weight eating up to 2,000 cals a day. Mind you, I started dieting when I was 13. It wasn't till I stopped starving myself and over exercising, the weight came off effortlessly. Have a lovely day!

Thanks Sugar Wafffle! I think IF my lifestyle could be different (I work 8-12 hrs graveyard shift...sometimes 7 days a week) I could be more active. I consider myself extremely sedentary....sitting & sleeping!!! Once I can insert my desired exercise goals I'm sure I might need more KCALS. I use the number of KCALS as a guide only. You are doing outstanding! Thank you so much for the input and support! Buddy up?

That sounds like great numbers to me. I am between 1200 and 1300 most days, eat a little less fat and a little more protein than you though...
