starchild1966's Journal, 08 April 2016

Fell off the wagon again. Much of it due to being placed back on insulin because of an upper respiratory infection that went crazy and landed me in the ER with an aggressive form of pneumonia. Have been depressed, which has caused me to eat the wrong things as a way to self -medicate.
However, today is a new day, and I will be trying something completely revolutionary and against conventional wisdom. This is a short workout with a small daily eating window. My metabolic approach reasons that the smaller the window, the more my body will have to burn its own fat stores. My workout will be short, intense, and blend cardio and weights. There are still some things that I'll keep just because they are fun, like swimming and yoga, but the emphasis will be on interval training with a cardio/weight mix. We'll see if this works. My first meal today will probably be around 10 am and II hope to stop eating around 5 pm. For now, I'll have some black coffee or tea, which is supposed to start the burning process.

best wishes in a restart. I also have been off course due to a bad chest cold. Just could not focus on all that I knew worked. Restarts are good for the body it could kick you right back in sooner than you think. Try not to over exert yourself to hurry the process your body is still in recovery from your infection. Have a great day
