Bruce and I are going out after he gets out of work. We're going to his place and he has pants to give me; then the Westfield, Massachusetts WalMart and then the West Springfield, Massachusetts Kohls. I am getting shoes and some shirts if they're on clearance. Anyway, lots of comments about Christianity today on here. Remember, everyone is a work in progress and we're all not in the same place spiritually. Some people want nothing to do with religion. Science even says everything came from one source. For me that is God, for others let them believe what they may, but an interesting thing to think about - someone once said to someone well-known quite some time ago, "Why don't you become Christian?" And they responded, "Because the way they act." And Jesus said, "Do not judge others, lest ye yourself be judged." So we have to accept everyone else where they are in their spiritual journey - even if they never have one. My beliefs may not be totally right, but they're right for me, and everyone accepting each others differences will go a long way to making the world a better place - rather than one where I might say, "My caveman's tribe is better than the one over the hill there." just some thoughts... everyone be well. The dieting is going well and the writing is too, in some of my books there is a strong religious element as it the books were in the past, but it was necessary to write them properly... hope everyone has a good evening...

Good evening. Am happy to hear that you've got a ride to go do what needs to b done. Am sure it is very hard without a car. I agree that we must be tolerant of each others spirituality - the world is big enough for all of us.

Well, I did well. Kohl's size 12 shoes were small, so two pair that I wanted they didn't have in 13, they have a poorly stocked store and are losing business because of it. I found six nice colorful short sleeve shirts for spring - a lot of the darker clothing wasn't selling well; and for good reason it isn't great on a hot day to be wearing black. I already have some for cooler days. Bruce gave me some shirts about six and about six pair of jeans - Levi's too... He has lost a lot of weight recently. I have to get a pair of winter utility shoes and a pair of sneakers. We went to WalMart and I got black dress/utility shoes I will wear for going out. Bruce gave me some dress pants too - slacks, the left were put in the hall for my neighbors. I need a winter coat too - Bruce gave me many denim shorts too, different colors so I have enough clothes through next summer easily. Next - Christmas shopping, but mainly just for the kids - my sisters' young ones, one niece is young and five great-nephews and nieces total. And so I made out with hundreds of dollars of clothes next to nothing so will try to give Bruce gas money - more than usual when I see him over the next month. I gave him the Kohl's $10 coupon they gave me. Anyway, believe it or not some things were good there - but other similar style shirts are half of the price at WalMart also on sale, though the shirts I got were of a good quality, I didn't buy those, it pays to shop on clearance...

If I'm not mistaken it was Gandhi who made that comment about Christians, and as we know he was a man of peace. Of course we need to fight evil, but also realize when to start keeping our own house in order too...

I googled it: and this is where my conversation will end for me, but I think it sums up a lot of religions. Gandhi was quoted, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." I think that made me think quite a bit, and we all have our faults but if we are following this path, it is time to really do it and not in a judgmental way. For those reading this of no faith, or another - this can pertain to many people in general of all backgrounds and we all can think of examples, and start by looking within...
