So I made my goal: 164 by the end of March. My new goal is 159 by the end of April. This is very ambitious for me because 5 pounds is quite a bit for me to lose in a month. I will need to stick to my exercise plan and make sure I don't have too many days above 1450 calories if I want to make it. Will keep my fingers crossed. Psychologically, seeing a 15 weight is a huge deal for me. Seriously, it's been several decades since I weighed below 160, so I am really excited to hit this milestone!
164.0 lb Lost so far: 70.0 lb.    Still to go: 22.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I would be excited, too, HM! All smiles for you! I just got a book you probably already have or have heard of .. from the website DIETGRAIL. It' the Glycemic Index & Glyxemic Load of Foods. Hope it helps me because I was sort of winging it this past week. Now I have a guide to look up things. I was just trying to eat low carb.

Thanks, fellow travelers. If we all work together, we can make it. Mom2Boxers, I'm on the computer all day long so I just google "glycemic index + [name food]". And then I just keep reading on line as much as possible. And of course, my problem is trying to coordinate with the restrictions of FODMAP, which are far more complicated. And sometimes I still make big boo-boos. For example, I forgot that sweet potato and avocado are both restricted -- not banned -- foods, so you have to eat a limited portion of each. Foolishly, I ate sweet potato two days running and on the second day I also ate avocado. The third day, not surprisingly, I was sick. So I just have to be more careful...
