No guilt; No concern. Calipers say I'm still good to go (as does the mirror) and my calories are in line. Lots of bread yesterday. We have a love/hate relationship. Mom used to bake every weekend. I even learned how to bake homemade bread. Is there anything more addictive in the food realm?

Ya'll all need to check out my "breads" not bread at all but just as good. Hmmm, I think I will buy one of those doughnut making pans and make me some Almond Meal Bagels. I hadn't though of that! Lather the cream cheese on top - it will be cream cheese on top of cream cheese! And the best part - Less than 4 grams of carbs!!!!

Oh, man. It must be going around, Glen. There's a bag of restaurant style on the kitchen counter, and I'm home alone for lunch!!! :(

Gaspy McGasperson, I cracked and had 2 pcs of bread (with butter) at lunch to keep my morning bagel company. If you don't mind, I'd like to blame you because of the bread post, lol

Tomorrow is fast day. I think it will have to be a 36 hour jobber.

Bread *sighs*. I love it, I love baking it and I love eating it. I'm not missing the sliced supermarket stuff my partner uses for his packed lunches but I'm having withdrawal symptoms for my oaty, seedy loaves that I usually bake on a Sunday and keep all week

Suzy, the calories not eaten on fast days are calories reduced, plain and simple. There are a lot of myths around fasting that are lies. "You'll gain it all back when you start eating again", or "You'll put weight on easier than if you just dieted down". These things are not true. It's still just about self-control afterward. I like the discipline of a fast. And, with the calories I am eating, it's a break from having to figure out what to eat.
