Today is day 6 of my 24 day challenge. Feeling great! I tried bison for the first time last night, and made homemade baked sweet potato fries. It was a very yummy supper!
I have stuck to my diet perfectly and for the most part, don't miss anything. I would love to eat some cheese, but that comes on day 11, so I will just wait. Last night I sat and planned all my meals for this week. Gonna make banana pancakes, turkey bacon and egg burritos, and bison crumble and egg burritos for my breakfasts this week. Then making spaghetti squash with turkey meatballs and Mexican lime chicken with whole wheat tortillas and black beans to mix up for lunches and dinners, with an occasional different meal to add variety this week. I've been wanting pasta so I'm hoping the spaghetti squash does the trick. I know I could buy the whole wheat pasta, but I'm trying to save that for the burn phase and just try new veggie/meat combinations instead. I know work looking at my food diary, my carbs look high, but it's almost all fruits and veggies!
I'm trying really hard because I want this to work. I want to lose as many pounds and inches as j can jumpstart myself to lose and then that will hopefully give me the encouragement I need to keep giving my all.
I didn't work out the last two days, but that's because I worked! I work at a nursing home and this storm apparently affected our housekeeping dept the worst. So, I was scrubbing floors, cleaning resident rooms, emptying trash, that kind of thing. Not to mention numerous trips around the building! Oh, and to go home, I had to dig my car out from the snow! So, yes, I got a workout, it just wasn't the typical "exercise", it was manual labor. Lol
Anyway, hope everybody has a great day. I'm going to go fix my banana pancake and top it with a little natural pb. Yum!!
